I am into link building industry since 1999 lot of concept development by linking experts from time to time but use of software or link exchange sites and other bulk method has not produced much results.

The best way is to go for manual link building from theme based authority sites relating to your industry. Even few links are sufficient for getting good ranking and traffic. In my opinion does link building for traffic and search will be automatically rank you? Be natural and organic and get links which search engine loves.

There are many other way of making link page but the most common is have long page with huge list of sites on one page and linking each site with its title or optimized anchor text without having relevance of all sites. Such pages never bring traffic rather we just make it for only search engines, which is a Spam. Google mentioned in its SEO guidelines “Make pages for users, not for search engines “.
